It Was SPECTACULAR...And Then Some!
September 4, 2007

The tent was huge, the crowd was huge, the night was...BIG TIME!  This was the 3rd year for us to get the opportunity to perform at the Salmon Spectacular and what a year to be there!  The tent was absolutely huge and full to the gunnels with fisherman, fisherwomen and country music fans.

Tommy Gilham opened the night with a trio act that certainly got the crowd pumped with some great original tunes and some of that awesome southern rock that Tommy performs so well.  After Tommy left the stage and a few minutes of give-a-ways from the derby executive, Steve Barlow from Country 93 grabbed a microphone and had the crowd ready for more.  We jumped on stage excited and ready to party...and party we did!  The crowd was amazing as always...it is always a real treat to come home and play in our hometown.

Special thanks to the Salmon Spectacular Derby executive for having us back once again this year and to all of the staff and catering for taking such good care of us.  As always...to our fans, you guys are awesome and the reason we do what we do!  Thank you so much to everyone for a great time at this years event!

Gary and Brian...you guys ROCK!

Well...we just have to do a little commercial here.  We've had so many people asking us where and when they can get a copy of our brand new single, "Between The Stones And Jones"...well, here's the answer!  As of just a couple weeks ago, you can now buy ALL B&B merchandise, including each individual song or the whole CD and, our brand new single, "Between The Stones And Jones" right off our website!!!  For 99 cents, you can instantly download any song have it downloaded right to your computer and burn it to disc!

We hope you enjoy our new e-commerce website and we encourage you to let us know your thoughts or any questions you may have.  Email  info@barnardandbrohm.com

Havelock Breaks A New Record...
August 16, 2007

Hey there everyone!  Well...we just got back from performing in Havelock and what an incredible time we had!  As we arrived, we were escorted to the backstage area where we were informed that they had a record breaking opening day attendance.  After going live on-air with Ray Hebert from Country 105 in Peterborough, we were then taken into the main backstage office where we autographed numerous items for the amazing staff of the jamboree.  We then headed back to our hotel rooms to get ready for the nights activities.

We arrived backstage just as Paul Brandt was finishing up his show...it was clear the audience was having a great time from the thunderous applause and cheering!  LeAnn Rimes then took the stage and the place went crazy!  Once LeAnn finished her set, we headed for our stage.  The crowd was huge and definitely ready to party some more...  We took the stage and for almost an hour and 15 minutes we had the time of our lives.  The fans a Havelock are without a doubt some of the best the world has to offer!

We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and management of the Havelock Jamboree for their exemplary hospitality.  First of all to Trista & Lindsay for taking such great care of us backstage and catering and providing everything anyone could ever ask for...you two are awesome!  Also, a special thanks to Bob who coordinates the backstage area and made it so easy do everything we had to do!  You rock Bob!

Last but most certainly NOT least!  To Jack, Ed and Pic!  Words are hard to find to express the gratitude we have for you all.  It has been a dream come true to take the stage in Havelock and for that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this amazing opportunity.  The Havelock Jamboree is class act and growing each year...once you've been there, you'll understand why!

Thanks as well to the "two" Melissa's & Bill for all your help with merchandise keeping us on schedule...you guys make life so much easier for us when we're on the road... Finally, to MJ...we simply would be lost if it weren't for you!  Thank you...BIG TIME!!!

Until next time...enjoy the summer, be safe and keep it country!

Cheers!

Cobalt show way too much fun!
November 26,  2006

Hello everyone!  Wow...how time fly's!

It started off as an early start on Saturday morning, Nov. 18th when started our journey up north to Cobalt.  After picking up the band and crew along the way, 1 seven passenger mini van and a F-350 dually with a trailer, we were on our way up Hwy 11 North.  We noticed it getting colder and saw obvious signs of snow...but the hospitality once we got up north 7 hrs later was warm and inviting.

Both Warren and I had family at the show some I haven't seen in a long, long time.  A big "hello" to David, Lloyd and family.  It was so nice to see you all, what a great surprise.  Also, to Carol-Anne and old teacher of mine was there.  What a huge surprise that was...I'm sorry we all couldn't have had more time to visit, but lets stay in touch.

The show was a 4 piece band along with Warren and I and we played two, 45 min sets with a short intermission.  The crowd was amazing!  You guys are the whole reason we do what we do and God bless you all for coming and hanging out with us at the show.

Cobalt is a very cool little town, very friendly and very inviting...if you ever get a chance to head north, make sure Cobalt is a place you take in.

We'd like to extend a personal thank you to Larry and Melanie for having us the Cobalt theatre, you and all your staff were so great to work with.  Also, to catering...you guys rocked!  What a great meal.  Thank you all who worked so hard for us.

On a personal note, I'd like to say thank you to all of my family who made the trip and a special shout out to Amanda Brohm from Kirkland Lake...keep up the great work with school and I'm sure we'll see ya one day soon!

As always...our band and crew.  You guys make it possible to do what we do.  The road trip was a riot.  You guys are way too much fun...

It doesn't seem real, but the Holiday season is just around the corner and we want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and a fantastic 2007!    We can't wait to see you all on the road again next year!

We look forward to chattin with y'all again real soon!

Sarnia Bayfest ...........AWESOME!!!
July 16,  2006

Hey everyone!  What a great time we had at Bayfest!

The weekend was perfect for the show...a bit hot, but hey...you don't have to shovel that sunshine!  Well, we got up Sunday morning, pumped and raring to go.  We had our load-in for gear at 11am on the stage, the sun was already blaring hot, but we didn't care... we were about to open the show for the Brooks & Dunn concert!  We walked up onto that stage and were blown away with how huge it was...for sure, the biggest stage to date that we've been on, but...we were ready!

We did our sound check at 1pm, the gates were to open at 2pm and we took the stage at 2:30 sharp.  At 2:25pm the stage manager had our band in position, the MC's were cued to start the show...Warren and I stood back stage with MJ almost ready to explode with excitement.  The crew from the country station in Port Huron walked up and yelled, "Hello Sarnia".....15,000 people exploded to life........screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs.... our hearts racing as we stood back stage and then they announced..."Please welcome to the stage....Barnard & Brohm".  We both walked out on that stage and seen a sea of people.  What a rush!  We performed songs from our debut CD, some old favorites and even a few new songs we hope to have on our new CD.  We played for 45 minutes and the crowd was just awesome.

We want to thank everyone at Bayfest for having us, especially the fans!  You guys rock!!!  To all of our crew and team, words can't describe our gratitude for the great job you all did.  We could never do it without you all!!!

To Aaron Prichett, it was great to finally get to play with you man.  We'll have to get together again real soon and jam sometime.

To Kix and Ronnie... it was an honour to open for you guys and hang out with you at the buses.  We look forward to seeing you guys in Nashville real soon!!!

Until next time...everyone stay safe and enjoy your summer!

Stay tuned...

Cheers!

Tara Homecoming a "BLAST"
July 3,  2006

Happy Canada Day everyone!

We sure hope that everyone had a great Canada Day weekend...because we sure did!  This year we were invited to perform for Tara's 125th Homecoming event and what an event it was.  Despite some wet weather in and around the area, it never stopped anyone from having a great time in Tara, Ontario.  Before we go any further, we have to thank the committee and board of directors at Tara for doing an unbelievable job putting on the event and certainly, their hospitality to Barnard & Brohm.  To Krista Gill & Peter Steinacker, a very special thank you from all of us in the Barnard & Brohm camp for an exemplary job looking after us all.  You guys made us feel so at home!  Also a special thank you to Jamie Yule for taking us to Peter and Krista...we appreciate all of your support and we hope you all had a great time and very successful homecoming.

It was great getting out and getting to meet some new fans, signing autographs, taking pictures and being a part of the excitement.  It's always so great to hear what's going on with everyone and catching up from show to show...  Some of you even bring pictures from past shows (like our girl Pam, who is one of our biggest fan....we love ya Pam) and we think it's awesome that you guys take the time to bring them to our shows.  Without you the fans, there would be no reason to do what we do.  Thank you to each and every one of you for everything you give back to us.  We're pretty lucky to have the greatest fans ever!!!

We're  working on new material, listening, writing and doing demo work...we know it's been a long time since the release of our debut CD, but we are confident the wait will be worth it.  We are very excited about the new material we are working on and believe us when we say, we can't wait to make the announcement that the new Barnard & Brohm CD is completed.  Again, right here is where you'll hear it first!

Well...I guess it's that time again to say so long for now.  We hope everyone has an awesome and safe summer.  We'll be looking forward to seeing at our upcoming shows!

Our bookings are being handled/booked at info@barnardandbrohm.com

*** a special "get well soon" to Frostie!

We look forward to seeing everyone real soon!

Stay tuned...

Cheers!

In Nashville!!!
May 10, 2006

A great big "howdy" from Nashville!

Well...we're down here in Nashville as we write you guys this note and we're having a great time!  The weather has been quite warm...a bit overcast, but still really nice.  Things are really busy for us right now, with trying to juggle everything that is going on...but no complaints, we couldn't be happier than to be busy.  Our trip to Nashville has been mostly business, but we've managed to get a wee bit of R&R in too.  Today we took in the new Country Music Hall Of Fame down on Demonbreun Street, just off of Broadway.  This place is a "must" see for any of you country music fans who plan on going to Nashville.  There is so much to see, that you couldn't possibly see it all in one day.  The history, the facts, the nostalgia is overwhelming...it's like you've stepped back in time.  The cost is 16.95 US, but most places will give you a 2.00 off coupon.  Even if you have to pay full price, it is well worth it.  You will see, hear and read things you most likely never knew before.  Warren and I were both blown away with all there was to take in.  After taking in the museum, we headed to the good ole Cracker Barrel for lunch... (I think I may have to run behind the SUV on the way home just to burn off too many Cracker Barrel meals"  We LOVE Cracker Barrel.

We have some more business to attend to tomorrow, then we may jam a bit tomorrow night...then we'll be on our way back to Canada Friday morning.  LOOK OUT TIMMY'S...HERE WE COME!!!

Well...I guess that's it for now.  Like I said last month...we have a very cool "something" coming in the next couple of months.  We don't have an exact date as of yet, but... we will be letting you know as soon as we can.

In the meantime... our bookings are being handled/booked at info@barnardandbrohm.com

We look forward to seeing everyone real soon!

Stay tuned...

Cheers!

Things are heating up!!!
April 3, 2006
Yee Haw!  It's starting to look a little bit like spring out there...and we couldn't be more excited.  We hope that everyone faired well throughout the winter months and are getting ready for a great summer of country music.  We've been working hard and putting together some new dates (check tour page) and can't wait to get out there and see everyone.

We are also getting ready to head down south and visit with some people in Nashville in the next couple of weeks.  While we're down there, we may just get a chance to do some writing for our new CD and get out to play some too!  We will try to keep you updated while we're down there.

Ok...I know this isn't very fair...but, we have something ultra cool coming in the next few months.  We just had to tease y'all a little bit first.  However as always you, our fans, will be the first to know right here on our website.

Stay tuned...

Cheers!
Warren & Ian.

Oh yeah, it's still winter out there!
March 2, 2006
Well...even though the winter seemed as though it was going to be a cake walk this year...we got hit hard when February rolled in.  However, it's been a really exciting time for us since the new year.  We were very excited to be asked if we would perform at the "ROAR UP KILIMANJARO FUNDRAISER" in Oakville, Ontario this past month.  The event was to help raise money for a climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro that will go towards finding cures for infectious diseases.  We wish everyone the very best of success in the quest.  Thank you all for coming out and supporting the event.  A special thanks goes out to Chef Rob Roberge and the management and staff of the Holiday Inn Select in Oakville for all their hospitality.

Since the new year, we've been writing and recording some demo's of new material we are anxious to record very soon.  Although there is no date yet set for a new CD to be recorded, we are very excited to get into the studio and start making some new music.  We performed on February 25th with Doc Walker in Mount Forest and had a blast!  The crowd was really into it and everyone had a great time!  Thanks to all the management of The Old Roxy Theatre in Mount Forest...we had a riot!  We had the opportunity to try out a few of our new tunes there and they were all really well received.  It's so much fun bringing new music to the fans and getting their opinion...after all, without the fans there would be no artists!  Thanks again to all our fans for their constant support.  We love you guys!!!

There are lots of shows lining up for this year, here in Ontario and some dates to be confirmed out west and down east, as well there are several very cool things in the works!  (Can't let the cat out of the bag....just yet!)  We'll be sure to let you know as things unfold!  Stay tuned and be safe!

Cheers!

B&B

Happy New Year!
January 4, 2006
We hope everyone had a great start to a new year!  We moved into the new year with family and friends and we hope to carry that throughout the year and hope you'll join us at a few of our upcoming shows.

Speaking of which, we'll be performing later this month on January 27th at a benefit concert in Oakville, ON.  We'll be showing our friends in Oakville how to kick up their heels at the ROAR Round Up!  This is a great cause. A team of about 40 individuals will be climbing up Kilimanjaro Mountain in Africa in July of 2006.  This adventurous team will be raising funds for Infectious Diseases Canada.  The organizers of this event is a survivor of The Flesh Easting Disease herself and knows first hand how devastating infectious diseases can be.

Tickets for this fundraiser is $85 each and $50 of each tickets goes to support a team member.  If you can make it - we'd love to see you!  You'll find more details in our 'News' section of the site.

Oh yea...we're got great news about a show coming up in February.  Check back for details!

It has been an amazing year for us and we are looking forward to an even better 2006.  We truly appreciate all the support that we get from you all and hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday season.

Wild, wild west weekend!
October 23 / 2005
Well...what a great last few days we had!  We got an opportunity to showcase for the Ontario and Manitoba arts councils for "Contact".  We showcased in Mississauga on Thursday night, then flew out to Manitoba early Friday morning, where we drove for about 12 hours and had an opportunity to get to meet and chat with several radio stations who are spinning our songs!  We'd love to send out a big "Thank You" to Leanne Doty in Brandon, MB., Janet Trecarten in Winnipeg, MB and Bruce Leperre in Dauphin, MB.  You guys all rock!!!  The drive was amazing...being the first time that MJ (our manager), Warren and I had ever been in Manitoba, it was pretty cool to see the prairies...despite how cold it was!  hehe.  We had a blast just the same.  Special thanks to our boy's Shane and Paul for flying out and hangin' with us for a couple days, you guys are too cool for words...  Thanks guys!

The Mississauga showcase was the "kick-off" for us on this past weekend at the Living arts centre...which is an amazing facility.  Ya gotta check that place out if you ever get a chance!  Thanks to everyone at the Living arts centre for all their hospitality.

To Dean, Edna and the whole crew at the Manitoba arts council in Verdin...you guys rocked!  The home cooked meals were awesome as was the whole event.  In short...the past few days were very productive and we're thankful to all who helped us out and supported our music.

Coming up.....it's the country 93 Birthday Party!  We're getting ready to party hard with Amanda and Johnny and all the cast and crew.  It's gonna be great time.... See ya there!

Don't forget to request "Keep On Lovin' You" at your favourite radio station!!

20th Annual Fergus Truck Show
July 25, 2005
Wow...it' s been a while I guess since we've logged in to say "Hi" to y'all.  How time fly's!

Well...this past Sunday, we played in Fergus, Ontario and we had an absolute blast doing so!  The day started out a bit wet with some rain (although we sure needed it) however, it never stopped the worlds best fans from coming out to see the show!  You just can't beat country music fans for their dedication and love for Country Music!  God bless you all!!!

It was sure great to see Pam, Lesley, Terri and the girls from Owen Sound out to the show and Gerda and Christien who made the trip from Newmarket to come out and take in the days events.  You guys are so great!

The day's entertainment started out with a traditional group from the Havelock area named "The Irelands".  They put on a great show and got the ball rolling.  We took the stage at around 1:15 and played right through until 2:30.  Charlie Major finished up the day's entertainment...what a great songwriter Charlie is and, it was real cool to open for him.  You rock Charlie!

We'd like to send out a special thanks to some people, without whom we just could never get everything done that needs to be done.  Our manager, MJ Milhomens...thank you so much for everything.  You have gone way beyond the call of duty for us ever since you came on board... your undying, unwavering commitment to us doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.  Thank you so much!

To our families...  Bill & Gayle, thank you both for being there anytime we need you.  You guys have been amazing throughout this whole process...Thank you so much!

To my Mom and Aunt Linda...  The BBQ sauces are simply amazing!  You guys came up with a winner for sure!  Thank you both so much for all the hard work and making the trip over.

A special thanks to Marie and Jerry from the OCPFA.  You guys have been just fantastic to work with.  Thank you both so much for believing in our music and allowing us to be a part of your event.  We hope to work with you both again real soon!

To our band.  You guys always give it your all and we can't thank you enough for your heart and dedication.  You guys all ROCK!

Last but certainly not least...  Our fans, new and old, without your support, we simply wouldn't be doing what we're doing.  We hope you know how much we love each and every one of you guys.

It's been a very busy last few months and it looks like that's not about to stop anytime soon...which is a good thing!  We'll try to get back sooner next time and let you all know what's going on and how we're doing.  In the meantime, we wish you all nothing but good health and happiness.  Enjoy the summer, be safe and we hope to see you all real soon!

Until next time...Cheers!

Oh...and if you like our latest single "Keep On Loving You", let your favourite radio station know.  As always, thanks for your support!

Family Day at 'Lil Big Horn
March 22, 2005
We hope everyone had as much fun as we did at the 'Lil Big Horn in Cambridge this past Sunday!  Thanks to Jerry and Cliff for a great afternoon.  The stage was rock'n with Don Parchem, Megan Morrison and all the artists that helped make it a real family atmosphere.  To our "keys" man - Mark, a special thanks for giving us your time on stage - it's always appreciated.

It was great to see Marti from thats country.com - we're glad you like "She was Talk'n 'Bout You".  And to Pat and Marie - always great to see you!

And...to our friends who travelled down from our neck of the woods to cheer us on - a BIG THANK YOU!  Check out our photo page!! Thanks for making the trip and making us feel so welcome.
